In April of 2025, PENLER closed on a 20-acre site within the Lakewood Ranch master-planned community in Bradenton, Florida, for the development of a 294-unit luxury apartment community. Located in one of the fastest-growing submarkets in the Southeast, the site benefits from strong demographics, master-planned infrastructure, and proximity to employment centers, retail, and recreation.

The project will offer high-end interior finishes and a thoughtfully curated amenity package, including a custom-designed resort-style pool. Homes will feature open floor plans, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, luxury plank flooring, and designer lighting and plumbing fixtures.

Of the total 20 acres, 3.5 acres have been reserved for future retail development, adding long-term optionality and enhancing the overall value of the site.

PENLER secured full zoning entitlements just prior to a significant shift in county leadership, effectively positioning the project ahead of what has become a more restrictive and uncertain development environment. This strategic timing underscores PENLER’s agility and ability to navigate high-barrier markets, while delivering superior risk-adjusted returns to investors.
