At PENLER, Drew plays a leading role in the firm’s acquisitions platform, with responsibility for the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of new stabilized investments. He oversees the full lifecycle of the acquisitions process, from initial deal sourcing through closing, and partners closely with senior leadership to drive investment strategy and capital deployment. Since joining the firm, Drew has led the acquisition of eight multifamily assets totaling approximately $630 million.
Drew previously worked in acquisitions at GID, where he was responsible for underwriting new investments across core, value-add, and joint-venture development opportunities. During his time at GID, he contributed to the closing of $450 million of multifamily transactions.
Prior to GID, Drew was a Senior Investment Analyst at PGIM Real Estate, where he underwrote and evaluated multifamily debt investments across acquisitions, refinancings, and credit facilities. During his tenure, he worked on a team that closed $1 billion of multifamily loans.
Drew graduated from the University of Virginia and resides in Atlanta with his wife, Leigh, and their son, Kruer.
