Mason Valk serves as Accounting Manager at PENLER, where he oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, and treasury functions.  Prior to joining PENLER, Mason held accounting roles with several prominent multifamily developers, operators, and investment firms, including Wood Partners, Greystar, and South City Partners. During his tenure at Wood Partners, he played an instrumental role in expanding the firm’s third-party business platform ahead of its transition to Greystar, and was recognized as the company’s 2023 Star Performer of the Year. His professional experience spans day-to-day accounting management, monthly draw preparation, financial reporting, acquisitions and dispositions, and cash management.

Mason earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University in 2016. He currently resides in Marietta, Georgia, with his wife, Colby.
